David Salmeri
Director
  • David has worked across the mining and construction industries.
  • Has a core background as a Geologist, and with additional Master’s degrees in Business Administration (Curtin Business School 2012) and Commercial & Resources Law (UWA 2018).
  • Starting out working in a gold-copper mine at Telfer before moving into Iron Ore, from an early stage in his career David has been working in and around active mines whilst they have been undergoing large-scale construction development.
  • After working at BHP for 11 years, the last 5 in con-current roles across Program Alignment, Strategic Business Planning, GeoMetallurgy and Business Transformation, he moved full-time into his role at F9 in 2016.
  • Since then he has continued a strong relationship with BHP as well as providing planning and project control services to CPB Contractors on a variety of projects, Yokogawa Australia as part of Chevron’s Jansz project and Georgiou on the Tonkin Gap Project, just to name a few.

  • Aaron had experience in mining, power generation, heavy fabrication and construction, with an emphasis on project planning and project controls.
  • Aaron has successfully managed high profile and complex projects in north Western Australia for such clients as Yilgarn Infrastructure, Gindalbie Metals, BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, Fortescue Metals Group
  • Aaron has also provided Project Services support for Tier 1 contractors and leading EPCM companies.
  • The key focus when supporting all of these companies is to provide accountability through best planning practices that will substantiate and mitigate against commercial disputes between, Client and contractor as well as provide meaningful reports to assist in decision making for Project Managers.

  • Vamsi has worked across a broad asset class of major capital projects including mining and construction industries.
  • Is a Civil Engineer complemented with Master’s degrees in Business Management (Melbourne Business School 2019) and Construction Management (NICMAR, India, 2004)
  • Extensive experience across the full life cycle of Mineral processing from construction to operations and has worked on Projects such as Roy Hill Processing Plant, QCLNG Processing and Field Gathering Stations, Codrilla Coal Handling and Processing Plant, Mt Pleasant Operations (Processing and Coal Handling Facilities.
  • Vamsi brings structured problem-solving skills to enable effective decision making in complex projects.
Darrin Ralph
Technical Planning Manager
  • Darrin is a highly experienced Planning professional, including managing State-wide Planners and leading $500m+ projects.
  • His expertise spans diverse industries like minerals processing, transport, marine, and oil & gas, with a successful track record of on-time, on-budget project delivery.
  • Darrin excels in coaching and mentoring less experienced Planners, showcasing his seasoned knowledge and technical skills.
Matt Richards
Planning Manager
  • Matt is a planning professional, mainly in the mining sector in WA. He has experience working at a Contractor level, EPCM and Owner’s Team, with exposure to Shutdown planning and both claim preparation and analysis.
  • He has previous experience in Lead/SME roles where he has been entrusted to coordinate a team of ten planners to ensure they provide a consistent output of high standard across 150 current projects with a combined value of over $500 million.
  • With a strong focus on the key principles across all facets of planning and scheduling, he has been able to successfully help deliver projects and identify risks to clients and stakeholders.
Oliver Yonge
Cost Control Manager
  • Oliver is a senior finance and commercial professional. He has worked across corporate and operating locations, in resources industries, transport logistics and civil project construction.
  • He has practical experiences that covers operational management, business planning and cost analysis, commercial management, project management, project controls, human resources, and continuous improvement.
  • His expertise also extends to Business Process Improvement, Strategic Business Analysis, Financial Modelling / Estimation, and Management/Board Reporting. Oliver completed his Master of business and technology in 2007.
